Dear IAHA Members,

There's just so much going on with IAHA right now that it's going to be difficult to include it all! If you've ever asked what benefits there are to being an IAHA member, this newsletter should be of great interest to you! I'd also suggest you visit the ABOUT IAHA website page to read a long list of benefits. Believe it or not, while we were all busy with our haunted attractions, the holidays and all our regular daily obligations, the wheels of momentum did not stop turning within IAHA! This newsletter may be long, but I sincerely hope you take the time to read all the incredible things happening in our industry and our association. These are very exciting times to be involved in the Haunted Attraction Industry! On to the news and announcements…

2008 IAHA Member Directory/Buyer's Guide

IAHA is proud to announce a new addition to the annual Membership Directory! A new "Buyer's Guide" section has been added which lists vendors who serve the Haunted Attraction industry. Directory Project Manager, Dan Faupel, said "This new Buyer's Guide will take what was already a valuable resource and make it even better. The IAHA Membership Directory has always been a book that haunter's refer to year-round for information about our members and about our industry. It's certainly a valuable part of IAHA membership." All industry vendors can be listed for free in this Buyer's Guide. Vendors who are members of IAHA receive a free upgrade to their listing. The 2008 IAHA Member Directory/Buyer's Guide will be distributed to current IAHA members starting at the 2008 Transworld National Haunt and Attractions Show in Las Vegas. To submit your company's information for the 2008 book, please email Dan at DanFaupel@aol.com .

This will be one of the best directory's that's been made, and promises to become a fixture on every haunter's office desk. In addition to the free listing, if you are a haunt industry vendor you will definitely want to help your business by advertising in this book! IAHA's advertising rates are the best in the industry, and we will get the word out about your company. Vendors who are members of IAHA save 20% off all advertising rates!!! Please contact Bill Criscione at bill@ghostlymanor.com to reserve your ad space today!

Reminder to Renew Your IAHA Membership!

We've said this before; we have never known the association to be as unified as it is today and to be truly SCREAMING AS ONE! IAHA has gained incredible positive forward momentum and the member benefits just continue to grow and grow! With that in mind, we want to remind you to renew your membership so that you can continue to take advantage of the benefits of IAHA Membership. The following is a letter you should have already received from IAHA Vice President Bill Criscione:

"This is another reminder to those who have not renewed their membership and assuring their name is in the 2008 directory.

We are going to begin purging the current member database for those members who have not yet renewed. The BOD wishes to thank all our members for being part of our association this past year. We also thank those that have renewed and will renew in the next couple days. For those of you that have decided an IAHA membership is not for you at this time, we hope you will reconsider and we respect your decision. We have a lot of great things happening right now and we hope you keep an open mind to rejoining this great association in the future.

As we purge the system you may find you no longer have access to this list and your membership in IAAPA will also be terminated. If you have renewed and somehow we missed it (which would never happen Smile ... not) please contact me directly and we will take care of it. My email address is bill@ghostlymanor.com. Thanks again for all your support!

Bill Criscione
VP – IAHA"

I've said it before and I'll say it again, we're overwhelmed by the showing of interest and support we've experienced this past year. All of your participation, whether it is feedback, suggestions, the contribution of an article, pictures of an event for Scream Zine, or even an email note of support, collectively motivates us and promotes and affects positive momentum. We truly are living in exciting times for the haunted attraction industry. As we continue to work together for the benefit of the greater purpose, we will all realize the potential and rewards together!

The Board of Directors and I would like to again say thanks to each and every one of you for your participation in and contribution to this association!

Onward and upward while paying it forward!

Kelly
